What Does FEAR Mean To You

What is the first thing you think of when the word Fear is mentioned?  Do you think about heights, bugs, or even clowns?  Do you think about rejection or failure?  There are so many things that can be brought up when you think of the work Fear

Let’s go one step further and think of acronyms that can define FEAR:

False Evidence Appearing Real-So basically the unknown.  The dark or the possibility of being alone.
False Expectations Appearing Real-

Face It-Explorer It-Accept It-Rise Above: With Christ, We can face them. Christ can help us explore them. Christ can also help us Accept them. Plus Only Christ can help us rise above them.

Face Everything And Run Yes you can run but you can also choose to rise. I would rather choose to rise than to run.

Face Everything And Rise-God says we should not fear because he has tomorrow. He is the one we should trust. He will take care of us. He will provide. So there is nothing to fear. Stand up and rise! Stand up and know that Christ is always with us. He will never leave us or forsake us. So we should have nothing to fear.

Our fears can be overcome by totally trusting in Christ. We should have is the fear of the Lord. It is a reverence type that brings godly wisdom. The Book of Proverbs is a great book to read to show how we can gain godly wisdom.

 

We should have nothing to fear. God is always with us and God will never leave us. (Deuteronomy 31:6)

If God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31 & Psalm 118:6 & Hebrews 13:6)

Nothing can pluck us from the hand of God. (John 10:28-29)

Nothing can separate us from the Love of God either (Romans 8:38-39)
