Be Careful What You Use To Float

I have been asked often “How did you make it through such hard things”  My usual answer is: I don’t know how I did I just did.  All you can do is just do it”  For me when I go through a hard time most of the time I am just in survivor mode.  I am just trying to keep my head above water, just doggie paddle, and hold on for dear life.

I have realized though that sometimes the things you hold onto to hopefully float can be something that can cause you to sink.  Many times I have had people in my life that I was hoping would be there to support me.  To help me tread water and float.

But instead, those people that I thought were there to support me was actually doing things that were causing me to sink.  They were degrading me.  Putting me down and not lifting me up.

It took me a very long time of holding to those things that were causing me to sink to realize those things were anchors and not life-saving devices.

So just remember that not everything in life will help y9ou to succeed.  Some things will cause you to have setbacks.  It is y9our job to know the difference.  and to also to realize that you have to let go of the bad and search for the good.  It is definitely good in the world.  We just have to search for it.

Take Care.  Much Love
